Welcome to the latest issue of the VPNC Update. We hope you find the news in this issue valuable.
VPNC is pleased to introduce its documentation profiles for IPsec. The purpose of these profiles is to help users understand how to set up their systems and to understand the vocabulary used in their system documentation. As more vendors adopt these profiles, we believe that the interoperability of IPsec implementations will generally increase.
Version 1.0 of the profiles is now available from the profiles web page at VPNC. Future versions of the profiles will include more real-world VPN scenarios.

This month, one VPNC member successfully finished their testing for
the three conformance logos (Basic, Rekeying, and Certificates):
Please see the VPNC conformance page for a complete list of vendors who have received the VPNC conformance logos in all categories.
