Book Corner

Secure VPNs rely on many aspects of network security. The recently-released second edition of Designing Network Security by Merike Kaeo covers nearly everything that one would want to know about deploying security in a networked environment. It covers everything from basic security concepts to protocols, and includes many fully worked-out examples of router configurations showing various aspects of network security. The book shows in detail how to integrate networks that include a mixture of protocols such as IPsec, RADIUS, SSH, and so on. The breadth and depth of the book make it a great reference for a wide variety of readers.
