New VPNC Member

VPNC is very happy to announce a new member to the VPN Consortium.

Qno Technology is a leading SMB broadband Internet router system integration company. Qno produces VPN Firewall Appliances designed to provide Internet security and privacy for business use. All products incorporate dynamic firewalling, quality of service, IPsec peer-to-peer, and PPTP server technology. Qno's main products include SMB xDSL/Cable Broadband Gateway/Router, Secure/VPN/Firewall, QoS gateways, and related products. The entire series of Qno Technology products is designed with firewall and IP VPN functions as well as high performance.

We expect to be adding many more vendors to the AES Interoperability logo program in the coming year.

Upcoming VPN-related Events

IPv6 Interoperability Test Event
Chiba, Japan / January 24 - 28, 2005

This event, sponsored by the TAHI project, covers many IPv6 technologies, including IPsec. This is the sixth annual event, and earlier versions have been very well attended.

IPsec/IKEv2 Interoperability Workshop
Santa Clara, California / February 22-24, 2005

The main focus of the event will be testing IKEv2 functionality. All vendors with IKEv2-based VPN products are encouraged to bring their latest products to test in a multi-vendor forum.
