Welcome to the latest issue of the VPNC Update. We hope you find the news in this issue valuable.
The VPNC test lab has been a bit quiet this month, but we are expecting to ramp up to a lot of testing in the coming months. We have a number of IKEv1 and IKEv2 systems almost ready to test, and we will have the IKEv2 Remote Access testing starting soon. We are hearing much more interest in IKEv2, particularly from carriers and wireless providers.
VPNC regularly retests systems when their software, firmware, or hardware has a significant change. This assures customers that new versions don't break interoperability that has already been established. We will be retesting some of the equipment already in the lab as new upgrades become available.
The SSL VPN testing for the Network Extension logo will begin soon, and the new logos should be issued within two months. As more and more SSL VPN vendors move to network extension to tunnel more traffic, this logo will help assure users that the network extension technology used securely covers the traffic that they expect.
See the VPNC testing page for full lists of all the VPNC members' products which have proven interoperability.
