This month, VPNC welcomes a new member: NetKlass.
NetKlass was founded by a team of professional router researchers dedicated to designing and producing network appliances. It provides security, firewall protection, and bandwidth management service for its customers to minimize the requirement for network maintenance and maximize the focus on work efficiency and performance. Netklass has been appraised in CMMI ML 2 in 2007. They will keep devoting the company to creating a win-win situation with its customers.
IKEv2 is still an important topic with VPNC's members. This month, one product received the IKEv2 Basic Interoperability logo:

In August, the IETF published the new standard for TLS, version 1.2. RFC 5246 updates the earlier TLS and SSL standards with new features and clarifications. The new standards will likely be adopted by the common web browsers and many VPN SSL appliances in the coming year.
