The IP Security Maintenance and Extensions (ipsecme) Working Group of the IETF will be meeting again this month at the IETF's meeting in Minneapolis. The main topics of the working group are finishing a clarification and revision of IKEv2, and working on many extensions to IPsec. VPNC's director, Paul Hoffman, is co-chair of the WG along with Yaron Sheffer of Check Point. In fact, many of VPNC's members are active in the WG both in writing documents and in reviewing the proposals as they are published.
