VPN-related Conferences and Meetings

The VPN world covers many areas, and VPN vendors attend many different events such as trade shows, technical events, and so on. The following lists the most significant conferences and meetings that VPNC members attend. If you know of other events that should be on this list, please contact VPNC's director, Paul Hoffman, at paul.hoffman@vpnc.org.

Interop
Interop New York
New York, NY / October 18-22, 2010
This is a smaller version of Interop Las Vegas, which is probably the largest networking show in the world. This conference has a sizable show floor for vendors and a large, fast-paced educational track. Because of the large attendance, many cybersecurity vendors regularly exhibit at Interop.

MPLS2010
MPLS 2010
Washington, DC / October 24-27, 2010
MPLS 2010 covers all aspects of MPLS, with emphasis on using MPLS in VPNs and for streamlining ISP operations. The conference's educational program has a strong technical component.
