We have deployed the NTS TunnelBuilder/TunnelMaster client/server for
customers that required AppleTalk VPNs. As far as I know it is the only
product out their that does Appletalk VPN.
Their is a server component that runs on an Intel Box (runs under Wind
River imbeded OS I think) and then their are the clients which support 40
and 128 bit encryption, Appletalk traffic and IP traffic.
Performance is OK, nothing amazing. I guess it depends on your end users
link speeds. Modems are so/so.
Price is about $5K for the server, about $50 each for the clients.
