Interestingly, this would work even if we move from an IPv4 access
network to an IPv6 access network. (Just a comment.)

Issue closed after discussion on mailing list (2004-08-12):
"Changing from IPv4 to IPv6 or vice versa should work 
for tunnel mode at least."
