Since New Group Mode can be used to increase or decrease the strength of future DH exchanges, I think it would be wise to do NG mode after XAUTH.  XAUTH is a second phase of authentication meant to authenticate the user.  All authentication must be completed before any exchanges (exception of phase 1 exchanges of course) can take place.

I have  some doubts about Xauth with New Group Mode.

My question is

What is the appropriate position for New group

 Mode exchange when Xauth is implemented along with New Group Mode 

  a)should New Group Mode occur after phase1 and before Xauth?

  b)should New Group Mode occur after completion of both phase1 and Xauth.?
