ipsec-policy mailing list

Welcome to the web site for the ipsec-policy mailing list. The ipsec-policy mailing list is for discussing how to standardize IPsec policy. This mailing list may turn into an IETF Working Group. The general topics are:

1. address the need for a general IPsec policy model that fits within the general policy schema currently under development by the Policy WG
2. adopt a vendor independent policy specification language
3. develop an inter-domain dynamic policy discovery, negotiation and conflict resolution protocol independent of any Key Exchange or protocol suite

To subscribe to the mailing list, send a message to ipsec-policy-request@vpnc.org with the single word subscribe in the body of the message. To unsubscribe from the list, use that same address with the single word unsubscribe in the body of the message.

There is a web-based archive of the mailing list. You can also access the entire archive as a text file. Please read through the archive before posting to the mailing list, since many topics of interest have already been discussed.
